Video walkthrough

Watch a short demo of the full DroidDesk flow.

1

Choose a device

Open the DroidDesk catalog and choose a device that fits your task. A device card may include:

  • country or region
  • phone model
  • Android version
  • connection type: Wi-Fi, LTE, or 5G
  • mobile operator
  • available plans
  • supported features
  • device status

If you need eSIM, mobile internet, a specific country, carrier, or app installation, check the device details before starting the rental.

2

Check the plan and features

Different plans include different access levels.

1 HourFor quick tasks
3 HoursFor longer short sessions
1 DayExtended work + limited app installation
1 WeekFull access · Google Play · eSIM

Before payment, make sure the selected plan fits your task. If you need app installation, Google Play, settings access, or eSIM, short plans may not be suitable.

3

Start the rental

After selecting a device and plan, start the rental. On the rental page, you will see:

  • Device ID
  • RustDesk ID
  • one-time password
  • rental timer
  • device information
  • connection and troubleshooting buttons
Connection passwords are one-time. If you reconnect later, the old password may not work. Click Refresh Password and use the new password.
4

Connect with RustDesk desktop client

To access the device, use the RustDesk desktop client. Browser-based phone control is currently unavailable.

To connect:

  1. 1Copy the RustDesk ID from the rental page.
  2. 2Open the RustDesk desktop client on your computer.
  3. 3Paste the RustDesk ID.
  4. 4Start the connection.
  5. 5Enter the one-time password.
  6. 6Wait for the device screen to open.

If connection does not work, check the Connection Error article or use the quick troubleshooting buttons on the rental page.

5

Use the device remotely

After connecting, you can control a real Android smartphone from your computer. Depending on the selected plan and device, you may be able to use:

Browsers
Websites
Supported apps
GEO location
Mobile IP
App installation
Google Play
eSIM
Device settings

Some features may be limited by the plan, security settings, or device configuration.

6

Watch the rental timer

The rental page shows how much time is left. When the timer expires, access to the device is closed.

If you logged into any accounts, we recommend logging out before the rental ends.

7

After the rental ends

After the session ends, the device may be cleared or reset to protect user data and prepare it for the next renter.

This helps keep the device clean, private, and ready for future rentals.

If something goes wrong

If the device does not connect, shows Offline, the screen does not load, or control does not work, use the Troubleshooting section in the Help Center.

When contacting support, please send:

  • Device ID
  • RustDesk ID
  • screenshot of the error
  • your rental plan
  • short description of the issue
