DroidDesk provides access to real physical Android smartphones. However, this does not guarantee compatibility with every Android app or service.
Some applications use additional security mechanisms or require the smartphone to be a permanent personal device belonging to the user.
The following services may be unsupported or may not work correctly on rented devices.
Services that may be restricted
- 💳 Google Wallet — functionality may be restricted on rented devices.
- 🏦 Revolut and certain banking apps — financial applications may require additional security checks, a permanent screen lock, PIN code, or biometric authentication.
- 🔐 Apps that require a PIN, Face ID, or other mandatory device lock — enabling a system-level screen lock may prevent further remote access to the device.
- 🎰 Betting and certain gambling apps — these services may perform additional device and user-environment checks, so their functionality on rented smartphones cannot be guaranteed.
- 🛡️ Apps with enhanced security requirements — certain financial, payment, and other security-sensitive services may restrict functionality on remotely accessed or non-personal devices.
- 📞 Calls (voice & video) and any audio — not supported. The remote-access software does not capture or transmit sound, so phone/app calls and any audio in or out of the device will not work.
Important: DroidDesk guarantees remote access to a real physical Android device, but does not guarantee compatibility with or successful operation of any specific third-party app or service. Any such restrictions are determined by the respective service providers and their security policies.
