Main reasons
VPN
VPN can reduce speed and increase ping. Try changing the VPN server, choosing one closer to the device region, or temporarily disabling VPN.
Internet speed
Recommended speed: at least 30 Mbps. Unstable connections cause lag in remote control.
No GPU or weak computer
Without a dedicated GPU, video processing uses the CPU. This can cause lag on weaker computers or laptops.
Mobile network of the device
DroidDesk uses real Android phones. If the device uses LTE/5G, speed depends on signal quality, carrier load, and network conditions.
What to try
- 1Use the desktop client (not browser).
- 2Check your internet speed.
- 3If VPN is enabled, change the server or disable VPN.
- 4Close unnecessary apps on your computer.
- 5Reconnect to the device.
