You can transfer any file from your computer to a remote phone using RustDesk. After the transfer is complete, reboot the device to make the files appear in the Gallery or Downloads folder.
Step-by-step guide
- 1Open the RustDesk app on the phone.
- 2Make sure Transfer File is enabled.
- 3Open Transfer File from the RustDesk desktop client.
- 4Select the files on your computer.
- 5Transfer them to the phone.
- 6Reboot the device.
- 7Reconnect to the phone.
Where are my files?
- Photos and videos usually appear in the Gallery after rebooting.
- Other files can be found in the Downloads folder using the Files app.
Important notes
- A reboot is required after every file transfer.
- Large files may take longer to upload depending on the connection speed.
- Do not disconnect the device while a transfer is in progress.
- Make sure the phone has enough free storage.
