Real devices without artificial system modifications
One of the main advantages of DroidDesk is that you are working with a real physical smartphone rather than an emulator or a heavily modified Android environment. We intentionally avoid:

Our goal is to keep the device environment as close as possible to a normal consumer smartphone.
Why we do not use root or fingerprint spoofing
Root access and fingerprint spoofing may appear useful in certain scenarios, but they also change the natural state of the operating system. These modifications can affect:

For this reason, DroidDesk focuses on real hardware with stock Android rather than attempting to artificially alter the identity of the device.
What a factory reset actually changes
A factory reset removes user data, installed applications, accounts, and many software-level settings. However, it does not turn the smartphone into a new physical device. The phone still has the same:
For this reason, performing a full factory reset after every rental does not provide the same result as replacing the physical smartphone.
Instead, DroidDesk automatically clears user data between rentals while preserving a stable and predictable device environment.
Can we guarantee that a specific app has never been used on a device?
No platform working with real physical smartphones can reliably guarantee the complete historical interaction of every device with every third-party application. A specific app or service may have been used on a device in the past.
This is one of the reasons why certain features, including app installation in some cases, may be available only on longer rental plans. Longer sessions give us more flexibility for device preparation, testing, and support.
Device preparation between rentals
After a rental ends, DroidDesk automatically clears user data and prepares the smartphone for the next session. A complete factory reset is not required for this process.

Device rotation and quality control
We regularly update the DroidDesk device pool and rotate older devices with newer models. Every device available on the platform is expected to be fully functional, tested, and ready for remote use.
