To accept a location tracking request from an app or website during a remote session, follow these steps.
How to allow location access
- 1On the phone, open the RustDesk app and go to Settings.
- 2Scroll to the very bottom and turn off Floating window.
- 3Complete the action: approve the location verification prompt.
- 4Go back to RustDesk and turn Floating window back on to keep the app running stably.
The Floating window must be temporarily disabled to allow the system permission dialog to appear on screen.
Important
Mobile IP location may not always exactly match the physical device location. This depends on carrier settings and network topology.
